Making progress

We have been making some progress on the new house!! It has been a LOT of hard work but it will definitely be worth it. The kids absolutely love running free outside. My mom and dad were a huge help this week on our progress. They kept my kiddos for a couple nights earlier in the week and then came down with some equipment for some major outside work. It has been a few long, hot days but we are very pleased at the results so far.

This is all the stuff we had to haul off. Thank goodness my dad had a skidloader to help with this project, uugghhh!

Patrick cut down a lot of shrubs and trees. I think he enjoyed the manual labor, teehee.

Hauling off the trees.

I think my brain was fried by Saturday so I forgot to take a picture of all our hard work. Ill have some soon:)

Missing....

I've been missing my sweet puppy Rocco alot this week. It's the first time Patrick has gone out of town for an extended period and Rocco not be here. It's always nice to have an extra set of ears to hear things at night and Rocco was always on high alert when daddy was gone. I always relied on him to confirm the noises I thought I heard or jump from the bed if he heard one of the kids stirring around upstairs. I know it sounds silly to some, but he was a part of our family and he is missed. It's just silly reminders like waking up to a noise and waiting to hear Rocco bark because he heard it too or getting a reminder card from the vet or finding his leash that makes my heart hurt a little.

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day this year! My sweet babies made me some precious gifts at school that I LOVE! Homemade gifts are the best:) We also took a quick trip to my mom's house and enjoyed some time there. It was a very low key day which I appreciated! I love being a mom and feel so very blessed to have 3 beautiful, healthy children!! I'm also grateful to have such an amazing mother to have raised me! I am truly a lucky girl:)

~Barefoot Dreams~

So here she is...our new project. We bought a house a little outside the city on 5 acres. We have been wanting to get somewhere with a little land so the kids can have some room to run and play. She isn't perfect by any stretch...she needs ALOT of love and work which we have already begun. I cannot wait to raise our kids here. I look forward to opening the back door and telling the boys to go outside and play and they can! I love driving down our road and seeing our neighbors horses grazing out in the field and walking out on the porch and not hearing a construction truck driving by. It's our barefoot dream, tee-hee!

She has a lot of potential and we will slowly but surely get there. I will keep you posted on our progress :) Wish us luck (and say a few prayers:) )....

I already LOVE seeing them running around outside barefoot!

Take me out to the ballgame...

The Kircher family has officially started baseball season! Woo-hoo! Jackson started T-ball this year and we are loving every minute! He is playing for the Cardinals this year and is doing great. He looks like a mini-Patrick in his uniform :) He is actually a pretty good ball player....much to his daddy's delight!!

Ready to field the ball
